The sealing strength tester is mainly used to test the sealing strength of various packaging materials, including but not limited to the following aspects:


1、 Test object


Plastic film substrate: such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and other film materials.


Flexible packaging composite film: a packaging film composed of multiple materials, commonly used for packaging products such as food and medicine.


Coated paper: Paper with a specific coating on its surface, used to improve its barrier properties, strength, and other properties.


Aluminum foil: It has excellent barrier and light blocking properties and is commonly used for packaging high-end products.


Other heat sealed composite films: including composite films made of PVC, PET and other materials, formed by heat sealing process to seal.


2、 Test content


Sealing heat sealing strength:


Test the sample by hot pressing sealing method, simulate the actual sealing process, and determine the heat sealing strength at the sealing point. This can reflect the quality of the sealing, ensuring that the product will not be damaged due to sealing issues during transportation and storage.


The test results are usually represented by parameters such as indentation depth and tensile strength, which can intuitively reflect the firmness of the seal.


Sealing performance:


Some sealing strength testers also have sealing performance testing functions, such as testing the bursting pressure and sealing leakage performance of packaging bags through positive pressure method.


This type of test can evaluate the sealing effect of packaging bags under internal pressure or external impact, ensuring that the product will not be damaged due to air leakage, liquid leakage, and other issues.


3、 Testing method


Tensile test: Apply longitudinal tensile force at the sealing area to observe whether there is rupture or separation at the sealing area, in order to determine its tensile resistance.


Pressure test: Apply a certain pressure inside the packaging bag and observe whether there is any air leakage or rupture at the seal to determine its sealing performance.


4、 Equipment features
