What affects the filtration effect of sintered filter cartridge

The filtration effect of sintered filter cartridge is influenced by various factors, mainly including the following aspects:


1. Filtering accuracy


The filtration accuracy of sintered filter cartridges can reach a high level, generally within the range of 2-200 μ m, and some can even reach 1-300 μ m. The level of filtration accuracy directly affects the ability of the filter element to intercept impurity particles. The higher the accuracy, the smaller the particles that can be filtered out, but it may also lead to a decrease in filtration speed.


2. Working temperature


Sintered filter cartridges have good heat resistance and can work within a wide temperature range, such as -200 ℃ to 650 ℃, and some filter cartridges can even work at temperatures up to ≤ 816 ℃. However, excessively high working temperatures may affect the material properties and filtration efficiency of the filter element, so it is necessary to choose the appropriate filter element according to the specific working environment.


3. Work pressure difference


The working pressure difference refers to the pressure difference that the filter element is subjected to during operation. The maximum pressure difference of the sintered filter element can reach a high level, such as 21MPa. However, excessive pressure difference may accelerate the wear of the filter element, affecting the filtration effect and the service life of the filter element.


4. Filter material


The material of the sintered filter element also has a significant impact on its filtration efficiency. Filter cartridges made of different materials have varying levels of corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and heat resistance. For example, stainless steel 316L and 304 filter cartridges have good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, which helps maintain the long-term stability of the filter cartridge.


5. Filter structure


The sintered filter element is made of multi-layer metal sintered mesh, which is specially laminated and vacuum sintered. The mesh holes of each layer of the mesh are interlaced with each other, forming a uniform and ideal filtering structure. This structure enables the sintered filter element to evenly distribute the filtering pressure during the filtering process, improving the filtering efficiency.


6. Types and concentrations of pollutants


Different types and concentrations of pollutants also have an impact on the filtration efficiency of sintered filter cartridges. Certain types of pollutants may corrode or clog the filter material, thereby reducing the filtration efficiency. Therefore, when choosing a filter element, it is necessary to consider the types and concentrations of pollutants in the working environment.


7. Cleaning and maintenance of filter element


The sintered filter element needs to be regularly cleaned and maintained during use to maintain its filtering effect. If the filter element is severely clogged or not cleaned in a timely manner, it may affect its filtration efficiency and service life.


The filtration effect of sintered filter cartridge is influenced by various factors, including filtration accuracy, working temperature, working pressure difference, filter cartridge material, filter cartridge structure, types and concentrations of pollutants, as well as cleaning and maintenance of the filter cartridge.
