The requirements for edible oil filtration mainly include the following aspects:

1、 Filtering accuracy

Definition: Filtration accuracy refers to the minimum particle size that a filter element or filtering device can remove impurities from edible oil.

Requirement: The accuracy of edible oil filtration needs to be determined based on specific usage scenarios and requirements. Generally speaking, the filtration accuracy of edible oil used in households can be relatively low, mainly to remove large particle impurities; Industrial or high-end cooking scenarios may require higher filtration accuracy to remove even smaller impurities and particles.

2、 Material selection

Oil resistance: The selected filter material must have good oil resistance and be able to work stably in a cooking oil environment for a long time without dissolving, deforming, or contaminating the cooking oil.

Safety: The filtering material should be non-toxic and harmless, and will not release harmful substances into the edible oil, ensuring the hygiene and safety of the edible oil.

Filtering effect: The material should have good filtering effect and be able to effectively remove impurities, suspended solids, sediment, etc. from edible oil.

3、 Operation process

Cleanliness: Before filtering, ensure that the filtering equipment and container are clean and free of contamination to avoid introducing new impurities.

Gradual filtration: For edible oils that require multiple filtration, it is recommended to use a gradual filtration method, first removing large particle impurities, and then gradually increasing the filtration accuracy.

Avoid pollution: During the filtration process, attention should be paid to avoiding prolonged contact between edible oil and air to reduce the risk of oxidation and pollution.

4、 Subsequent processing

Storage: The filtered edible oil should be stored in a sealed, cool, and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature environments to extend the shelf life of the edible oil.

Regular inspection: For edible oils stored for a long time, their quality and condition should be checked regularly. If there is any odor, discoloration, or increased sediment, it should be dealt with or replaced in a timely manner.

5、 Specific scenario requirements

High temperature environment: In high temperature environments (such as during oil frying), it is necessary to choose high temperature resistant filter materials and equipment to ensure filtration efficiency and safe use.

Industrial grade applications: In industrial grade applications, factors such as filtration efficiency, automation level, and energy consumption may also need to be considered to meet the needs of large-scale production.

In summary, the requirements for edible oil filtration involve multiple aspects, including filtration accuracy, material selection, operating procedures, subsequent processing, and specific scene requirements. In practical operation, appropriate filtering methods and equipment should be selected based on specific needs and conditions.
